The Melville & Districts Region conducts over twenty group learning activities for people aged over 55 at three venues in the Melville area. Our activities include discussion groups cultural activities language music writing reading and games. Some groups meeting weekly and others once a month.
There are NO exams with our groups – just involvement in learning new things expanding horizons sharing skills and experiences making new friends helping others to learn accepting new challenges to show that age need be no barrier to learning or to helping others to learn and to enjoy.
The annual membership fee is $45 and a levy of $4 is charged for each group attendance to cover venue hire charges.
