The largest of the four branch libraries in the City of Joondalup  Joondalup Library was officially opened on 13 July 1997 by the Hon P.G Foss MLC. The Joondalup Library is centrally located close to the City of Joondalup Administration building a variety of cafes and restaurants and is accessible by train (a 10 minute walk from the Joondalup Train station)  CAT bus route 10 or 11 or Transperth Bus Line 465.If you have a mobility disability then access to the library is via the underground car park and a lift which will bring you to the foyer entrance of the library. There are paid parking bays and high-rise parking areas close by. The Joondalup Library houses a dedicated Reference and Local History area and has a wide range of facilities and services available including free Wifi and internet. Community Transport and Books on Wheels provides alternative access to library services.
