The Heritage-listed Bijou Theatre (est. 1896) is the oldest-surviving wood and iron theatre in Australia. It is owned and operated by the Esperance Theatre Guild an amateur community theatre company. This enthusiastic and vibrant team of volunteers and performers entertain Esperance theatre-goers with comedies musicals and pantomimes held 2-3 times per year.
